There are no exercises you can do for your abs where you won’t suffer from back pain. The best thing for you to do is lightly work out your back. You have to go to the root of the problem. Doing some reverse sit ups (or supermans) will help you with the back. When you strengthen you back, most likely your back will feel much better and won’t hurt daily, or even when you do work out your abs.
Many people just work out their abs and neglect their back. It is like working out your biceps but not your triceps. Not a good idea.
